Kool-Lastik Primer
Heavy-duty rubberized undercoating for troublesome roofs. Specially formulated for problem roofs and ponded water situations. Use on bonded tar and gravel, BUR and modified bitumen roofs. The rubber-like properties that allow expansion and contraction with the roof provide an excellent surface for application of Kool Seal white elastomeric roof coating (model No. 63-300). It is not required or recommended for metal or coated metal roofs. Do Not Use On Roofs With Slope Of 1/2" Or Less Per Foot. Surface preparation: Remove all loose previous coating and scrub roof with water and TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) solution to remove all dirt, oils, and grease. Mildewed areas must be treated with chlorine bleach before the TSP application. Apply with either airless spray equipment, brush, or industrial paint rollers. Approximate coverage: Bonded tar and gravel. 50 sq. ft./gallon; BUR/mod. Bit, 50 sq. ft./gallon; concrete, 100 sq. ft./gallon.No. 34-600-1: Gallon (actual contents .9 gallon)
